We've had hours of fun with a cardboard box. Makes me wonder why I spend so much on presents sometimes!

My mum says that when I was wee I used to prefer playing with the packaging that toys came in. I had such a good imagination that I would make up my own games with them. Cardboard boxes are so underrated!

I'm not really sure why we persist in buying toys: they seem to have the best fun with ordinary household objects don't they? Great photo
